With its rich soil, sunny Mediterranean climate and secure abundant Murray River water supply, Robinvale Euston is suitable for growing and processing a diverse range of quality products. Currently, more than sixty different agricultural and horticultural products are grown throughout the region. The principle production activity is fresh table grapes, supplying to a large export market valued at millions of dollars annually. There is also large-scale production of wine grapes, citrus, almonds, olives, carrots, pistachios, avocados, barley, wheat, sheep and other vegetable crops. Thousands of hectares of land suitable for further new horticultural development close to reliable water supplies have been identified. The result is that significant opportunities remain for further investment in this sector.
